Is Obama a Muslim?

Last night at dinner I had the chance to overhear a conversation about Barack Obama's religion. Almost half of the table thought that Obama is a Muslim, while the other half didn't really know. I chimed in that I thought he was Christian, but even then I couldn't be 100% sure. Turns out that Barack Obama is not a Muslim (though, apparently, his father was a Muslim and his paternal grandmother is).
